Only the following state egg regulatory programs will be eligible to apply: Current FDA egg inspection contract states or those willing to enter into a contract in 2025 are eligible to apply for funding under this cooperative agreement. Entering into this agreement will also require a current long-term 20.88 information sharing agreement and the expectation of full conformance with the standards and maintenance of the cooperative agreement. The FDA will provide one year of funding with the possibility of up to two years of additional non-competitive support, contingent on performance and continued availability of federal funds.
